Dinakaran is one of the largest newspapers in India. The printed paper circulates at about 1.3 Million daily copies. In 2013, Dinakaran wanted to leverage the popularity of mobile and tablet devices and deliver news exclusively for audiences that are on the go.
Techtinium conceptualized, designed and built the the mobility platforms for Dinakaran. At that time, this was revolutionary and allowed users to personalize the sections of news that they would like to see. Apart from stories, the app also allowed users to browse through image and video galleries.
With over 3 Million downloads, this has been one of the most successful news apps in the country.
