Sometimes, the best way to bring different teams together is to step away from the usual routine and start cooking. That’s what we did on our last Fun Friday.
From Work Desks to Kitchen Tables
Trading our work desks for makeshift kitchen tables, we came together in cross-project teams for a No-Fire Cooking Challenge.
Everyone had 30 minutes and a budget of ₹750 to prepare a vegetarian dish without using fire or electrical appliances. Creativity, coordination, presentation, cleanliness, and teamwork all became part of the challenge.
A Race Against the Clock
With the clock running, ideas coming together, and each team finding its own approach, the activity gave us a chance to collaborate in a setting far removed from our everyday work.
The challenge brought together different teams, each working with the same set of constraints but creating something entirely their own.
What Was on the Menu?
The dishes prepared on the day included rice paper wraps with peanut chilli dip and elaneer payasam, high-protein corn salad with mint mojito, ice cream tiramisu, cucumber sandwiches with bread rasmalai, and vegetarian sushi rolls.
From savoury dishes to desserts and refreshing drinks, every team brought its own ideas to the table.
More Than Just a Fun Friday
It was a simple reminder that teamwork takes many forms—and sometimes, it comes with a carefully prepared dish at the end.
