Poshmark, started in 2011 is a marketplace that harmonizes the needs of both buyers and sellers. It acts primarily like a secondhand re-seller, which does not maintain inventory. Their main focus was building a nurturing community and building relationships with buyers and sellers.
Their mission is to place users at the center of commerce, fostering a space where everyone can thrive. Today, Poshmark boasts 100 M+ registered users, $6 Billion earned by the seller community, and 300M+ items sold, promoting sustainability.

The Challenge
Poshmark wanted to go beyond simple transactions and cultivate a thriving community by fostering relationships between buyers and sellers.
Social interaction was a key element of the Poshmark experience where buyers can actively engage with sellers through features like following closets, liking items, sharing them with friends, and leaving comments allowing sellers to identify interested buyers and understand their preferences, leading to more targeted marketing and successful sales.
Recognizing the limitations of existing platforms, Poshmark partnered with Techtinium.
What did Techtinium do
